When we gave the Presidential Choice T-Bone its name, we didn't just pick those words out of thin air. This iconic steak got its name when President George H.W. Bush made a surprise visit to our establishment during a campaign stop in 1992. Surrounded by an entourage of Secret Service, local businessmen, and other politicians, the president looked over the menu and made his order - the T-Bone. After he enjoyed his hearty meal and had left, we added the "Presidential Choice" to honor his iconic visit. Since then, the name has stuck, and for a good reason. This thick, flavorful T-bone is everything you would want from an award-winning steakhouse, and it's only fitting that it is, in fact, the steak that presidents endorse. Other political figures who have enjoyed our legendary steak include Ronald Reagan (before he was president) and a long list of Oklahoma governors and senators who often make stops while on the campaign trail. 

Tenderized and Prepared to Perfection

What makes the Presidential Choice T-bone so good is not just the type of cut it is but how we prepare it. When dining, you’ll notice the unmatched tenderness of this steak that we achieve through our needling processes. This process involved piercing the steak with blades to help break down the tough muscle fibers. This results in a soft, tender steak that is consistent in every bite. We genuinely believe this needling technique is what sets this T-bone apart, as it helps preserve the steak’s natural juices while simultaneously absorbing our signature seasoning. Our aging process takes about a month to break down the enzymes, increasing flavor and tenderness. In the end, you’re left with a flavorful, tender steak that is the perfect meal for fine dining in Oklahoma City.
