Oklahoma City's Top 10 Steakhouses Ranked A Local's Honest Review

If there's one thing that Oklahoma is really good at, it's cookin' steak right. Whether you're going out on a date or just craving a perfectly cooked ribeye, OKC has some of the best steak houses for every occasion and budget. As a local, I've made it my mission to eat my way and rank through some of our top OKC steakhouses, from local franchises to true fine-dining experiences. Today, I'll be going through that list so you can branch out and try a steakhouse you've never experienced before, starting with my all-time absolute favorite, Cattlemen's Steakhouse.

#1 The Legendary Cattlemen’s Steakhouse

Cattlemen’s Steakhouse is my personal go-to when I’m looking to get a hearty meal and experience some local Western vibes. This Steakhouse is located in the heart of Stockyard City and is Oklahoma City’s oldest and most iconic Steakhouse. Over the years, Cattlemen’s has gained a devoted following and attracted numerous presidents and celebrities who have sought out their award-winning steak. If you’re looking for a big and bold steak, their Presidential T-Bone is my personal favorite. Get yourself some lamb fries if you’re feeling adventurous or want to impress your date. In the end, Cattlemen’s provides the best food in OKC, along with genuine Oklahoma hospitality that makes every guest feel like family.

#2 - Mickey Mantle’s Steakhouse

Located in the heart of the Bricktown district, Mickey Mantle’s Steakhouse is renowned for its upscale and elegant atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for date nights and special events. They are highly esteemed for their bone-in filet, crab cakes, and delicious truffle mac & cheese. Its high-end dining experience and rich ambiance mean you’ll be paying anywhere from $45-$70 per plate.

#3 - Mahogany Prime Steakhouse

Mahogany Steakhouse near Penn Square is the place to go if you’re looking for an upscale, white-tablecloth service with top-quality steak. The atmosphere is elegant, making it an ideal setting for special events, such as anniversaries or important business dinners. Their wine selection is limitless and the lobster cargot is the die for! We recommend trying the Prime NY strip if you’re looking for a hearty yet elegant steak option.

#4 - Red PrimeSteak

Red Primesteak offers a bold, yet contemporary twist to the OKC steakhouse scene with its red-accented interior and culinary flair. Start your dining experience with their coffee-crusted filet and jalapeno bacon mac for a perfect balance of rich flavors and upscale style. This steakhouse is perfect for couples looking for a trendy date or a night out with friends. Overall, you can expect to pay a respectable $40 to $60 per entrée.

#5 - Ranch Steakhouse

Located just north of OKC, Ranch Steakhouse is regarded for its homestyle atmosphere and top-quality steak cuts. It’s the kind of steakhouse that locals flock to to get away from the business of the downtown scene. Entrees like their prime rib or bacon-wrapped filet are meals that will have you coming back for more. Make sure you leave room for their legendary banana cream pie!

#6 - Boulevard Steakhouse

Boulevard Steakhouse is located in Edmond and is Oklahoma’s first USDA Prime Steakhouse. This upscale steakhouse is renowned for its hand-cut, custom-aged steaks, which are seasoned with a special house blend for a unique flavor profile. I personally love their filet mignon paired with Brussels sprouts and house Caesar salad. Overall, this steakhouse is the place to go for a premium experience if you’re ever in the Edmond area.

#7 - Jamil’s Steakhouse

Jamil's Steakhouse has been a cherished local institution since 1964, combining a blend of classic steak with Lebanese-inspired appetizers. This includes items you can't find at other steakhouses, such as house-made tabouli, hummus, a relish tray, pita bread, and smoked bologna. Their entree options include USDA Choice Angus steaks, jumbo fried shrimp, and Norwegian salmon. The restaurant's rustic ambiance, complete with vintage photographs, is perfect for both casual dining and special occasions.

#8 - LongHorn Steakhous

LongHorn Steakhouse is a high-end franchise that offers a welcoming atmosphere and a wide array of classic steak and side options. The atmosphere is casual and reliable, perfect for families looking for a great night out. Their signature Outlaw Ribeye is juicy, tender, and will leave you stuffed every time. I also recommend you try their tender Flo’s Filet and parmesan-crusted Chicken!

#9 Texas Roadhouse

If you've ever driven past a Texas Roadhouse, you’ve probably noticed that it is packed, and it’s not hard to see why! This steakhouse is the perfect family-friendly restaurant with big portions and plenty of Texas-style fun. It’s free, fresh-baked bread and cinnamon butter are a guest favorite. Its budget-friendly menu and generously sized steaks are perfect for large group dining. You can save time waiting by checking in online before you head over!

#10 Saltgrass Steak House

Perfect for families and couples. This steakhouse is known for its Certified Angus Beef steak that is cooked to perfection and finished with the Saltgrass-7 Steak Spice and garlic butter. You can also find a variety of entrée options, such as chicken, seafood, and house specialty dishes. I highly recommend you try out their Range Rattlers and Pat’s Ribeye!
