History of Cattlemen’s Steakhouse
We’re no strangers to cooking delicious steaks and providing exceptional service. In 1910, Cattlemen’s Cafe started serving hungry cowboys and ranchers in what was a major meat processing plant at the time. Growing into a well-known establishment in the prohibition era, Cattlemen’s was famous for its after-sundown home-brewed “liquid delights.” Changing owners in 1945, Mr. Gene Wade expanded and improved Cattlemen’s into the dining establishment we know today. Since then, Cattlemen’s Steakhouse has seen its fair share of movie stars, politicians, and political candidates, all coming to experience the delicious steaks we have spent over 100 years perfecting. Our humble beginnings remind us of where we came from, while our current successes show the world how far we’ve come.
